PADI ADVANCED OPEN WATER COURSE

Move up and experience real adventure with the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course. As you step beyond the PADI Open Water Diver level, you make five dives and have the opportunity to try some of diving’s most rewarding and useful specialty activities, such as deep diving, digital underwater photography, wreck diving and much more
Exploration, Excitement, Experiences. They're what the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course is all about. And no, you don't have to be “advanced” to take it – it's designed so you can go straight into it after the PADI Open Water Diver course

The Advanced Open Water Diver course helps you increase your confidence and build your scuba skills so you can become more comfortable in the water. This is a great way to get more dives under your belt while continuing to learn under the supervision of your PADI Instructor. This course builds on what you've learned and develops new capabilities by introducing you to new activities and new ways to have fun scuba diving.

You'll hone your skills by completing six adventure dives that introduce you to:

  • Underwater navigation

  • Deep diving (around 30 meters)

  • Night Diving

  • Peak Performance Buoyancy

  • Underwater Naturalist

  • Self reliance skills and emergency situations

Prerequisite:

  • Open Water diver license

  • 12 Years Old for Junior Advanced Open Water (does not perform the Deep dive)

  • 15 Years Old for Advanced Open Water Diver

  • Be medically fit and if there is any medical problem, a diving physician approval in writing is required

 

What to bring:

  • Positive Attitude

  • Open Water Diver license

  • *Diving insurance (if you are signing up for the open water and advanced open water courses together, you do not need to purchase diving insurance) 

 

Tentative Schedule:

  1. Thursday

    • 17:00 Orientation, Theory

    • 18:30 Night Dive

  2. Friday

    • Deep dive, Underwater Navigation dive, Underwater Naturalist dive (these dives can change and be moved to another day)

  3. Saturday​

    • Peak Performance Buoyancy dive, Self reliance skills and emergency situations dive (these dives can change and be moved to another day)

What you are allowed to do after: After you finish the Advanced Open Water Diver course, you are allowed to dive to a maximum depth of 30 meters with a buddy (21 meters for Junior Advanced Open Water Divers). Your buddy must hold an Open Water diver license and have at least 12 logged dives or hold an advanced open water diver license or up
